The following are the terms of trade of “Skydive Queenstown Ltd” (SQL) trading as NZONE Skydive, Skydive Wanaka and Skydive Southern Alps.
The Terms and Conditions may only be varied by agreement in writing between Skydive Queenstown Ltd and the Agent and these conditions may not be waived by any one party.
- “Skydive Queenstown Ltd” (GST: 078-126-205) of 35 Shotover St, Queenstown
- “Agent” company, agency or person in receipt of this document
- “Guest” means person or persons who has been identified as the end user of the booked Skydive Product
- The relationship between the parties is an agency relationship for the limited purpose of the Agent offering SQL products to potential guests under the terms and conditions.
- SQL agrees to allow the Agent to sell Skydive Products to Guests, in the capacity as agent for SQL, on these Terms and Conditions.
Agent Application Form
New Agents wishing to sell or promote SQL products must complete an Agent application form prior to accessing rates and making bookings.

- All Agents must complete a FAMIL REQUEST FORM, prior to travel if requesting FOC/Discounted travel.
- At least 2 full working days’ notice is required for all requests, this is to allow time for Reservations and Sales to complete the approval and booking process.
- Local market FAMIL requests are not to be accepted during published NZ public holiday weekend periods, NZ school holidays or defined peak international travel periods. Wholesalers/Domestic/Inbound FAMIL requests over these periods are subject to approval.
- Any Famil or Discounted bookings that are cancelled inside 24hrs - standard cancellation fees apply
Group FOC Policy
- 1 FOC for the genuine tour guide for group sizes over 10 paying customers (including 10 pax).
- Maximum 1 FOC for each group; FOC not accumulated.
- For the second or additional Tour Guide/Teacher/Group Leader, Industry Rate will applies.
- Tour Guide’s limited to 1 FOC in a 12 month period.
- FOC request 48hrs prior to travel, otherwise request is subject to availability.
- For groups of size 1-9 paying guests, Industry Rate applies.
- When the Agent sells a tandem skydive, it is the Agent’s responsibility to communicate - to the best of their ability, the SQL terms and conditions to the Guest/Agent.

- Copyright Photos and Videos - SQL will provide a Booking reference to the Agent upon confirmation of booking.
- The Agent must provide the Guest with a receipt of payment, a voucher or confirmation document which must be presented upon check-in. Without this document, customers may be charged full price for their skydive. Details to include:
- SQL's Booking Reference
- Agent Booking ID/voucher number
- Guest first and last name
- Contact details - email address preferred or NZ Mobile phone number
- Product and add-on details
- Link to SQL's FAQs page
- Booking Terms and Conditions - The Agent can only book Skydive products only (merchandise and media options are only sold on the day of travel and are non commissionable).
- Please refer to specific SQL Rate Sheets for weight, age and height restrictions as they may differ between locations.
Availability of Jump Dates & Time Slots
All jump dates and times are subject to availability. Check availability and days of operation either on the SQL website, agent portal or with the SQL reservations team, prior to confirming a booking on behalf of the customer.
Location & Duration of a Tandem Skydive
Note that all bookings are given an ‘arrival/check-in’ time only. Please note this is not a skydive ‘jump’ time. Whilst SQL endeavours to complete an individual’s tandem skydive within the allocated time, SQL advises this may not always be possible due to safety considerations.
As safety is SQL’s main concern, factors such as wind, cloud, rain, thermal turbulence etc. and other factors such as air traffic can affect the time it takes to complete the skydive activity. Weather can change for better or worse in minutes, and customers will be unable to skydive even when they are at SQL’s Drop Zone.
The location of the landing area for each parachute drop may vary depending on weather conditions, with the focus being on customer safety. Refunds or compensation will not be made if a spectator does not witness a landing.
Group Bookings
While SQL endeavours to keep groups in the same load, SQL does reserve the right to change group configurations where necessary due to operational and safety requirements. No refunds will be made available where SQL changes your group configuration. Group rates available on application.
Acknowledgement of Risk
In undertaking this activity you need to be aware and understand that there is an element of risk involved. Parachuting and Skydiving activities are potentially dangerous and injuries and fatalities can and do occur. Not all risk can be foreseen, prepared for or avoided to the extent that even if the parachute equipment is operated correctly and packed and assembled correctly you may still be injured or killed. Pre-registration Form
All guests must complete a pre-registration form at check-in, the form must be completed by the guest (If under 18 yrs, then it must be completed under the supervision of their parent or guardian). This form can only be completed 24hrs prior, as it has specific medical questions that relate to Skydiving. A safety briefing and gear-up must also be completed at the drop zone prior to the Skydive.
Sell Rates
- The Agent agrees to sell SQL tandem skydives at the Sell Rates contained in the latest Rate Sheet
- Sell Rates are disclosed in the latest Rates Sheets. Any changes in sell rates will be advised to agents at the earliest opportunity and reflected in the Rate Sheet.
- All Sell Rates are inclusive of New Zealand GST and are subject to change at SQL's discretion.
- Agents must confirm the validity of a rate, either online or with the SQL reservations team, prior to confirming the final cost to the customer.
- Sell Rates must not be discounted without prior written authority to do so by SQL.
Agents Commission
- Commission:
- the amount the Agent is entitled to receive
- payable on completion of the skydive
- not payable on cancelled bookings
- only payable on the skydive product booked and not on any add-ons including Photo & Video packages, and merchandise.
- Commission Level:
- is confidential and Agents must agree not to disclose this information to any other person.
- may be reviewed at SQL's discretion with a minimum of 2 weeks’ notice.
Payment Policy
- The Agent agrees to pay SQL in accordance with the Payment Policy.
- Full payment is required at the time of booking for Agents without a credit account with SQL.
- Payment is required in full by the agreed trading terms for Agents with a credit account with SQL.
- All payments are non-refundable.
- Payments not received by the due date may result in the cancellation of the booking.
- Credit card payments processed at the SQL drop zones include Visa, Mastercard, China Union Pay, WeChat Pay, Google Pay, AMEX

Direct deposit payments do not incur any fees. Please identify payment with booking number or name & date of travel.

Cancellation & Amendment Policy
By the Guest/Agent
- Cancellations up to 24 hours prior to departure will incur no fee. Cancellations within 24 hrs of departure will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
- Notice of a cancellation must be provided by email to SQL Reservations.
- A booking may be rescheduled any number of times, however the booking will only remain valid for a period of 12 months from the original jump date. After this date, all payments will be forfeited, and no refunds will be given.
- Name changes must be provided by email to SQL Reservations and will not incur a fee.
- If Guests change their mind within the cancellation period, all payments will be forfeited, and no refunds will be given should they fail to go through with a skydive or decide to change to a different skydive product of lesser value.
By Skydive Queenstown
- To ensure the highest standards are maintained, SQL reserves the right to reschedule or alter a tandem skydive with no prior notification. These changes do not constitute a claim for a refund and include changes to type of aircraft used, drop zone, check in time, jump time, number of participants in a plane, altitude reached, duration of free fall and location. Providing customers with a 100% safe and amazing experience is our number one focus.
- If a skydive is cancelled due to weather, SQL will endeavour to rebook the jump on a suitable alternative date before leaving the drop zone. The Guest may also rebook at an alternative SQL drop zone location. The Guest must pay any price difference directly to the drop zone if changing to an experience of a higher booking value including upgrading to a higher jump height, changing products, packages or skydive locations. Customers will not be due a refund if changing to an experience of a lesser booking value.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend all Guests to purchase their own travel insurance to cover possible unforeseen circumstances.
Publication of Skydive Queenstown Products & Brand Assets
- Prior to publishing any offers or advertisements of SQL products, offline or online, the agent must obtain written approval from SQ of the content, form and creative of the proposed offer or advertisement. SQL reserves the right to restrict which products may be offered or advertised by the agent and the basis or way in which the products are offered or advertised, including in relation to rates, special offers, currency, and the representation of products.
- The agent must obtain written approval from SQL, granting the agent a licence for any offline or online use of SQL brand assets, including trademarks, logos and brand images.

Digital Conflict of Interest
- The Agent must agree not to participate in Metasearch programs by paying to display rates for SQL products. Metasearch refers to lead generation platforms and websites that provide consumers the ability to comparison shop across multiple online travel agents and SQL’s own online booking engine rates. These include, but are not limited to, Trip Advisor, Trivago, Google Hotel Price Ads, Kayak, Google Places, Google Hotels, Finder, Skyscanner and Google Maps.
- The Agent must agree not to bid on any businesses, brand names and specific locations which these businesses operate in and any exact or variation of the Primary Keyword Phrases, including common misspellings, abbreviations or change in word order, in any form of paid advertising or search engines. This also applies to all combinations where the word ‘skydive’ is substituted for ‘skydiving’.
- The Agent must agree not to use any of the Business Names, Primary Keyword Phrases listed below, or SQL’s images in page/profile names, usernames, signatures, avatars and profile shots within social media or buy, or own any domain names that contain Primary Keyword Phrases in the URL.
- The Agent agrees to not use these Businesses, Brand Names and Locations in ad text or display URLs, nor shall the agent place social media adverts (Eg. On YouTube, Facebook or other channels) in a way that targets, competes or confuses users as to the origin/ownership of the activities.

5. Should the agent run digital campaigns that incorporate Skydiving in New Zealand we further require that the following combinations are placed as ‘negative keywords’ in search term campaigns.

6. SQL reserves the right to revoke this agreement if changes are not made to ads that we believe are not in compliance with this criteria.
Social Media Policy
Social Media means a web or mobile-based application that allows or facilitates the creation and exchange of user-generated content including, but not limited to, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit, Tumblr, LinkedIn, Qzone, Weibo, WeChat, Ask.fm, Flickr, VK, Odnoklassniki and Meetup. Agents agree not to create official or unofficial pages/profiles on Social Media sites that are primarily used to promote SQ products without express written permission; nor post comments to forums, blogs, Social Media or review sites that insinuate that the agent is an official representative of the SQL business.
Data Protection & Privacy Policy
SQL has implemented in accordance with all the applicable data protection, the necessary organisation and technical security measures within their scope to guarantee personal data protection, and avoid its alteration, loss, illegal use and non-authorised access. SQL is dedicated to keeping your details private.

Acceptance of Terms & Conditions
- Any act by the Agent to sell Products to a Guest, confirming a booking or authorising payment will be deemed to be acceptance of the terms and conditions set out in this Agreement.
- The Agent acknowledges that failure to keep within the terms stated in this document may result in the temporary or permanent withdrawal of their account with the Company.
- The Agent is liable for all legal and related incidental costs incurred by the company in the recovery of all amounts owing as a result of any breach of this agreement.
- Agents must agree to further indemnify SQL, its associate companies, directors and associates against any risk or action related to your participation in your skydive.
- SQL is not obligated to fulfil any products and add-ons where the Agent has failed to comply with their obligations under this Agreement.
